Recently saw War for the Planet of the Apes. Here’s what I learned from a movie about an ape who holds the future of humanity in his hands.
1. Genetically-engineered apes build the coolest habitats. Zoos need to take notice.
2. An albino gorilla is interesting and cool to see. Too bad this is the reality of an albino gorilla.
3. If shaving your head was that easy, everyone would do it.
4. The final fight scene needed Maurice to turn to the other apes and say, “In the end, it wasn’t ape that doomed humanity, but humanity itself”, and then look straight into the camera, and then slowly raise his hand and point at the camera, and then have all the other apes join him in the shot, and then have all of them raise their hands and point at the camera.
5. Caesar is Moses. HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT COMING?!
